In two weeks, I’ll be driving up to Chicago to put down a deposit on an apartment, and to transfer/register fall 2012 classes. I keep racking my brain for reasons I shouldn’t go, listing all the possible things that could go wrong. Honestly, i’m scared shitless.

I miss the time Alex taught me how to play Jumper on guitar right after we demolished a blackolive/extra cheese pizza. And I miss Boston too. And the summer. And literally melting from the heat. And having things to look forward to. And people to look forward to. I miss having a best friend that anticipated my arrival, and a boyfriend that would do anything to make me feel better. I miss being confident and sure.
I really need to get out of this shithole. Leaving behind a freezing/lonely apartment wont be hard.
